Founded in 2011 and formally assembled in 2014, the Big Wave Risk Assessment Group (BWRAG) has evolved to be the leader in ocean safety education. Today, led by Brian Keaulana, Daniel Couto, Kohl Christensen, and Pat Chong Tim, and supported by a growing instructional team that includes Greg Long, Jon Hoover, Andrea Moller, Ryan Hargrave, and Mark Healey, BWRAG is expanding its ocean safety curriculum to reach surfers of all abilities whether they surf two-foot or 20-foot waves.
“Ocean safety involves not only a strong foundation of knowledge but having the right tools at your disposal. Active Skin Repair is one of those essential tools we at BWRAG think no surfer should be without.”
– Zach Dilonno, BWRAG Manager
In 2020, Active Skin Repair will join brands like Patagonia, Guayaki, CLIF, Klean Kanteen, and more in supporting BWRAG as it brings its Safety Summits to a global audience. If you’re not able to join us in Hawai`i for the Global Summit next weekend (Dec. 13-14), BWRAG will release its 2020 schedule with dates and locations before the end of the year.
